The mission of Thin Ice Ensemble Theater is to provide students of all abilities with a comprehensive, collaborative, and confidence-building theatrical experience through immersion in great plays, while providing the community with affordable, high-quality theater

Class Offerings for Fall 2014

Join Thin Ice this fall for classes in musical theater, scene study, stage combat, and the works of Shakespeare and Dr. Seuss. ***Just added***: a beginning class for ages 4-6 and a new Friday night combat class in November. Check out the schedule and get more information on our Classes page!

Thin Ice’s second production of the 2014-15 season is Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare. Hilarious hijinks ensue as 2 sets of twins meet in the town of Syracuse after many years of separation.  Join us at the Elaine and Zollie Frank Theater at the Mayer Kaplan JCC, 5050 Church Street in Skokie. Performances are Friday & Saturday January 9th and 10th at 7:30pm and Sunday January 11th at 3pm. Tickets cost $10 for students and $12 for adults and are available online and at the door.

We have the dates set but haven’t yet determined all the plays. While you wait for that exciting news, you can mark your calendars for: December 5-7, 2014 (Number the Stars); January 9-11, 2015 (Comedy of Errors); March 20-22, 2015; and May 29-31, 2015 (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)!
